Blog description:

I am an advocate for trail preservation and am wondering if this even crosses the mind of many of you who are out there riding on public land. Are you aware that trails are disappearing? Are you willing to do something about it?

Join me in a discussion to help better understand those who care about the places they ride.

Time to Ride

84 Views          10/18/07
Wondering how many of us really have the time to ride and enjoy it. Do you spend weeks planning to pack and hurry to get to the campground just to ride a few hours on Saturday? Why bother, I ask? It seems you are so frazzled by the time you get there the short time in the saddle does not even unwind your timeclock and before you know it you are staring at the watch saying, Time to Go Home.

I vow to ditch the watch and ride close to home so I can save every minute for the trail. I have yet to see all the places within 5 miles of me and it may take me a lifetime to find that one special place that I want to take that one special person.
