On the off chance ul pick up ur mail in Canada: I went to Toronto a few years ago and wanted to ride off the beaten track too. Having an english accent was a definite advantage! Go to a local tack shop and check their ads & speak to the person who works there. Attend a rodeo and flirt! I got my first taste of carriage driving , four in hand in a thunderstorm with a lovely family who are as horse mad as I. I met some rodeo girls who loaned me two of their show horses for a midnight ride. I was intrigued as to the difference in the way we ride/ school/ keep horses. Am looking forward to my next Canadian adventure
